Cashew is a 15.2hh 2018 AQHA palomino gelding that we sourced as an eventing prospect in 2025. We loved his lofty gaits and scopey jump and Ryleigh has been doing an excellent job producing him as a lower level event horse for a junior or adult amateur. Cashew has also been hunting in 2nd and 3rd field and is a surefooted and brave partner in the field. He loves to jump and has a solid understanding of basic aids on the flat. He is working well into contact and should score very nicely in dressage. He has competed at local schooling shows and is the same horse on and off property. Cashew is still working through some baggage from being run through several auctions before we met him. While there isn’t a mean bone in his body he can be a little unsure on the ground and needs a kind hand. He will actively be for sale when his confidence has grown, though an experienced home, or one where he would remain in our care, would be considered at any time.
